Khajuraho: Stories on stone 

Engravings on the walls speak a lot about the stories from the past. This trip was like a door to the past, like I’m again in 2nd-semester learning the history of India with a virtual reality headset on and exploring the depth of the subject practically instead of reading and watching YouTube videos and listening to lectures in class. The temple was decorated with a profusion of sculptures with intricate details, symbolism, and expressiveness of ancient Indian art.     

The journey started with a loud alarm clock, me juggling to stuff my clothes in a trolley bag, and ended with dancing like a maniac on the bus. This trip has been imprinted in my memory as one of the most adventurous trips of my life.
